If your referring to the exterior, such as scuff marks etc, you could probably use a standard kitchen cleaner.

Question by Study Deepan: Will i be charged extra for baggage of 171 cm,when american airlines allows upto 157 cm for 23 kg ?
I bought a samsonite sky wheeler dlx totalling to 171 cm , when AA allows only 157 cm as per guidelines . I travel with a F1 student visa . If i maintain the weight within 23 kg , still will i be charged for oversize ? Please reply .

Yes you will be charged the oversize fee. You are WAY over the limit and agents will notice.

If your bag were to be 1-5 cm over, you would’ve been fine

Question by John: What’s better than Samsonite, American Tourister or VIP?
I’ve seen travelling bags and suitcases of Samsonite, American Tourister and VIP and I feel that they’re charging us double the money that the items would actually be worth.
Questions:
1. Is it really worth buying any of these brands? Which would you recommend, and why?
2. I want quality for a reasonable price. The above brands give quality, but the price is double. Are there brands which sell durable suitcases and travelling bags at reasonable prices? Which brands are those?
Eg: Rs. 1200 for a travelling bag is too much. A low quality travelling bag sold on the footpath costs Rs.200. So I’m expecting a good quality travelling bag to cost between Rs.400 to Rs.600. But really, it isn’t fair of them to charge even Rs.400 for a piece of thick cloth that has been sewed up into a travelling bag!

Question by Shannon P: i accidentally changed the combination on my travel lock…how can i undo that so i can reuse the lock??
i have 2 travel comination locks. 1 is samsonite the other is korjo brand. the locks are still open, but i think the combination has been changed because i cant lift the latch high enough to close the lock. i really need to know how to reset the comination so that i can keep on using the locks. thanks.

there is usually a lever or button on the back of the lock and you move the lever or push the button and change the code to what you need it to be. Then move the lever back to the original postion or release the button. Let me know if it doesn’t work. I can talk you thru the process of figuring out the new lock code.
