mount rainer is a nice place but is a kinda of far so mabey PIONEER SQUARE, SEATTLE CENTER, BALLARD LOCKS, PIKE PLACE MARKET, SEATTLE UNDERGROUND TOUR, SEATTLE STREETCAR so hope you like it!!!
Start at the Seattle Center, where you can go to the top of the Space Needle, visit the Experience Music Project, and see amazing displays at the Pacific Science Center.
Take the monorail to downtown Seattle.
Visit the waterfront (huge import shops on the piers and seafood restaurants).
Visit the Pike Place Market (be prepared for “weird and wacky!”)
Take a 30 or 60 minute ferry ride across the Sound and back.
Visit “old town” area, Pioneer Square, close to the sports stadiums.
Walk the flat, easy, 3-mile path around Green Lake.
Walk the road along East Lake Union (Fairview) where most of the houseboats are located, including the one used in “Sleepless in Seattle.”
Go to the lookout on Queen Anne Hill above the Seattle Center for a fantastic view of the city, or get a different view from Gas Works Park on the north end of Lake Union.
You’ve gotton some great answers but also try taking a duck tour. I live 30 mins from Seattle and LOVE this tour. You get a motorized tour of Seattle and a boat ride all rolled into one.
